Flex International Hub - Terms & Conditions for CFtP Users

Welcome to Flex International Hub (the "Platform"), a professional networking service operated by the Global Fintech Institute ("GFI", "we", "us", or "our").

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Platform as a Chartered Fintech Professional (CFtP) User. Please read this document carefully before creating your account.

By clicking "I Agree," you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Glossary of Terms

• "Platform" refers to the Flex International Hub website, services, and applications.
• "GFI" refers to the Global Fintech Institute Ltd., the Singapore-headquartered entity that owns and operates the Platform.
• "User" refers to any individual or entity registered on the Platform, including CFtP Users, Fintech Companies, and Investors.
• "CFtP User" or "You" refers to an individual registered on the Platform who holds or is a candidate for the Chartered Fintech Professional designation.
• "Public Profile Data" includes your name, professional title, work experience, bio, and skills.
• "CV" refers to the curriculum vitae or resume file (PDF) that you voluntarily upload to your profile.
• "Verified CFtP Badge" is a digital badge displayed on your profile. It solely confirms that the GFI Member ID you provided has been validated against GFI's official records. It is not an endorsement of your skills, qualifications, or professional conduct.

2. Acceptance of Terms

This is a binding legal agreement. By creating an account, you represent that you are of legal age to form this contract and that you will comply with all terms herein.

3. User Eligibility (CFtP)

To register as a CFtP User, you must be a current Chartered Fintech Professional in good standing with GFI or an active candidate in the CFtP program. You agree to provide truthful and accurate information.

4. Account Verification

To receive the "Verified CFtP Badge," you must provide your official GFI Member ID. You explicitly consent to GFI and the Platform accessing its internal records to validate your membership status. Providing a false ID or misrepresenting your status is a material breach of these Terms and will result in immediate account termination.

5. User Obligations & Conduct

You agree that you will NOT:

• Spam, harass, or threaten any other User.
• Use the Platform for any illegal or fraudulent activity.
• Scrape, data-mine, or attempt to extract data from the Platform in bulk.
• Impersonate any person or entity.
• Upload any content that is defamatory, obscene, or infringes on any third-party intellectual property rights.
• Share your account credentials or allow any other person to use your account.

6. User-Generated Content (UGC) and Grant of License

You are solely responsible for all content you upload or post, including your Public Profile Data and your CV.

• License to GFI: By posting content, you grant GFI a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute your content as necessary to operate and promote the Platform.
• CRITICAL: CONSENT TO PUBLIC VISIBILITY OF YOUR CV - To facilitate the Platform's core networking function, you explicitly acknowledge, agree, and consent that your uploaded CV will be immediately and fully visible and downloadable by ALL other registered Users of the Platform (including Fintech Companies and Investors). You understand the sensitive nature of this data and accept all risks associated with making your CV public. GFI is not and will not be responsible for the storage, use, misuse, or dissemination of your CV by any other User or third party who downloads it from the Platform.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

• No Endorsement: GFI does not endorse, and is not responsible for, any User, including any CFtP User, Fintech Company, or Investor on the Platform. We act solely as a neutral platform to allow Users to discover and connect with each other. The display of a "Verified CFtP Badge" is not an endorsement of a User's skills or professional conduct. We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy of any User's profile, the availability of any job, or the legitimacy of any investment opportunity.
• "As-Is" Service: The Platform is provided "as-is" without any warranties. GFI does not guarantee that the Platform will be secure, error-free, or uninterrupted.
• No Agency: GFI is not an employer, recruiter, or employment agency. We are not a party to any agreement or transaction (e.g., employment contract, investment) made between Users. You are solely responsible for your interactions and engagements with other Users.
• Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, GFI and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising from your use of the Platform or your interactions with other Users.

8. Termination

You may terminate this agreement at any time by providing 14 days' written notice to us via info@globalfintechinstitute.org. GFI may also terminate or suspend your account at any time, without notice, for any breach of these Terms.

Upon termination, we will follow the data deletion procedures outlined in our Privacy Policy.

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore to resolve any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform.
